The GIASⅢ comes with an improved seat rigidity and durability compared to the previous GIASⅡ model, due to the newly designed bone frame and monocoque shell by 3D-CAD. Furthermore, the reclining mechanism and easy-to-operate reclining lever, newly developed in the pursuit of ease of operation, convenience, and durability, allow adjustment for multiple angles and realize a sturdy hold and comfort, reducing the backlash to a minimum. In addition, belt holes for 6-point harnesses are located on the backside of the seat, and exclusively designed seat and thigh cushions made of high-density urethane foam have been employed.
The GIASⅢ is the ultimate reclining bucket seat on the streets that intricately combines the rigidity and hold necessary for circuit and sport driving, as well as the convenience and comfort needed for everyday use.
This model comes in 3 colors : gradation logo, black, and red. The shell comes in 2 types, the FRP Silver Shell and the Carbon Shell, and for the cushions, you can choose between the standard type and the low type.
Exclusively designed seat and thigh cushions
The cushions employed for the seat and thigh areas are made of exclusively designed high-density molded urethane foam. Your weight is distributed evenly on the flat seat, which gives it just the right amount of hold. It is also less likely to make you tired and highly durable. For the thigh cushions, you have the choice between the standard type and the low type, which is reduced in thickness.
Shoulder & knee support with a sturdy hold
The GIASIII comes with a sturdier hold for the shoulder and knee supports compared to the STRADIAIII. Compared with the GIASII model, the load capacity of the frame has increased by 200%, the torsional strength by 40%, and the frontal collision strength of the backrest by 15%, which gives it the high rigidity and sturdy hold necessary to withstand strong G-forces.
